Who Are you building with?

I used to dream about my home falling apart. I would be trying to hang pictures or get certain parts fixed, but the pictures would eventually fall, and repairs would fail again. I did not understand for the life of me why this was happening. 

Then I read this scripture

“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.”

 I understood this dream was symbolic of a close relationship I had.

Sometimes we build things with people outside of God’s perfect will. God will allow the construction of it, but because the foundation isn’t grounded, He doesn’t allow it to stand firmly. God is concerned with WHO we build with and WHO we are, allowing under the roof of what is built. Anything that we get outside of God’s plan will eventually crumble. It does not matter how many times YOU try to repair it. This goes for a relationship, career, business plans, and your life in general. God must okay the construction for the foundation to be solid. 

I encourage you to pray Before you move forward with any plans this year. 

Prayer will cover you at every end. If a previous project/relationship is falling apart, trust that God may be trying to protect your future. Don’t try and force it to work. God always has your best interest at heart
