You can come back from anything

True Forgiveness is a blessing that only God can give. He will take the messes in our life that WE created, clean them up, and still provide us with hope and a future. The backside of that is the consequences that seem to follow. Sometimes it’s a daily reminder of why you should have done things differently. 

I learned that you could come back from ANYTHING. I mean ANYTHING. Never ever believe or allow someone to tell you differently. You can walk through some tough, dark seasons where you feel as though surely this is the end; Come out and see how God not only carried you But how He didn’t let you go even when you gave up on yourself. 

Coming back, though, does not take away the residue from the decisions. Sometimes you still have to walk with a heart that says Lord, “thank you for allowing me to come out and giving me another chance. With the same breath, pray and ask him to help you deal with what’s before you- the consequence. 

I want to encourage you with this truth, ”consequences can serve as a great reminder that God can take a terrible choice, recycle it, and make one of your biggest blessings out of it.

Stop living in guilt and shame over your past; instead, pray and ask God how he can redeem it. Better days are ahead, but you have to choose to hope again.
